abstract = "This paper treats radiation therapy setup training systems and it proposes a new web-based radiation therapy setup training system supporting VR goggles especially modified for single trainee mode. The authors have already proposed a web-based collaborative radiation therapy setup training system supporting VR goggles and clarified that the system is available for the radiation therapy setup training from the user evaluation results performed by the medical course students. However, this web-based collaborative system always requires two trainees to perform the setup training so that single trainee cannot perform the training. This feature is very inconvenient as the training system. This time, the authors developed new version of the training system that allows single trainee to perform the radiation therapy setup training. In this paper, the authors explain how single trainee can perform the training and introduce several improved features. In addition, the paper shows the user evaluation results performed by the medical course students. The results say that the single trainee mode is very useful.",
