N2 - Here we demonstrate that a molecular motion detector in microfluidic channel can track nucleolytic and proteolytic degradations at a single molecule level. Central to these results is our observation that the microfluidic control worked well to visualize transient molecular processes clearly. A geometric analysis of the time course of molecular trajectories indicated hydrolysis rates and induction periods of each reaction.
