N2 - We developed surface-coated nanowire device with 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine self-assembled monolayer for the detection of C-reactive protein (CRP) and phage display screened specific peptide for the detection of Escherichia coli (E. coli) without antibody. In this work, for achieving high-efficient target capturing we focused on combination of nanostructure and surface coating. We fabricated zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowire devices by hydrothermal synthesis and coated their surface with materials recognizing each biomarker without antibody. 3D structure of nanowire and surface coating enhanced target capture ability.
