title = "Preliminary results of the Japan-Taiwan joint survey on combining ocean radar data in the Kuroshio upstream region",
abstract = "Japanese and Taiwanese institutes have collaborated to obtain ocean radar data with significantly increased coverage in the upstream Kuroshio region. An international joint survey was conducted in June 2012, in which intensive in situ observations were performed within the radar coverage. Details of the joint survey are presented in this paper with brief descriptions of preliminary results on the surface and subsurface currents near and within the Kuroshio.",
