Nonlinear positive temperature coefficient of resistance of BaTiO3 film

抄録

Nonlinear positive temperature coefficient of resistance (PCTR) of BaTiO3 films was studied. Conductance decreasing with increasing temperature (T) above a (T) characteristic was found in the reverse-diode characteristics of metal contacts on strained BaTiO3 epitaxial films. It was suggested that comparing the PCTR effect in ceramics, the anomaly was regarded as a PTCR effect at metal/ferroelectric contact and the origin of the effect in the thin films and single crystals were also discussed.
