This study aims at engineering of cellular and tissue morphogenesis, focusing on (1) development of engineered cell shape, cell patterning on 2 dimensional (D) substrate, and cell dispending in 3D matrix, (2) cellular and tissue mechanics particularly emphasizing at a mechanical indentation mapping of a whole body of a cell for cell mechanics and mechanical matching with native tissue for tissue mechanics, and (3) microconstructs via photofablication with specially designed photo-polymerizable liquid precursors and photoconstruction, and via electrostatic fabrication of nano-sized fibers to produce "mechano-active" vascular graft scaffold.
