Stopped-[Formula Presented] reactions have been investigated with respect to H-dibaryon and hypernucleus formation with a scintillating fiber detector. Out of [Formula Presented] tagged [Formula Presented] particles via the [Formula Presented] reaction we obtained 72 stopping [Formula Presented] events with [Formula Presented] background events after imposing kinematic constraints. Hypernuclear production has been studied by observing free Λ decays in the stopped-[Formula Presented] reactions. From the observed Λ momentum spectrum, we have found the hypernuclear production rates to be [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] for double/twin-Λ hypernucleus, single-Λ hypernucleus, and no hypernucleus cases, respectively. With the same sample, we set upper limits on R (stopped-[Formula Presented] stopped-[Formula Presented] all) for [Formula Presented] decaying into [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] for [Formula Presented] masses just below [Formula Presented] mass threshold and for [Formula Presented] lifetime range [Formula Presented] The upper limits on [Formula Presented] are [Formula Presented] assuming all of the [Formula Presented] decay into each decay mode. Our results give a tight constraint on the existence of the bound [Formula Presented] in comparison with the theoretical estimates of Aerts and Dover, albeit with different target nuclei.
