title = "Experimental studies using a low-energy RI beam separator at CNS",
abstract = "Radioactive-ion (RI) beams of 10C, 14O, 12N and 11C with energies below 10 A MeV were produced by using a low-energy in-flight RI beam separator newly constructed by CNS, University of Tokyo. Using the 12N and 11C beams, some resonance states were identified in the proton elastic scattering 12N+p and 11C+p, respectively.",

note = "Funding Information: We constructed the CNS Radioactive-Ion Beam in-flight separator (CRIB) to study resonance states in unstable nuclei. In the first experiment, we have successfully identified some proton resonances in I30 and “N. The in-flight technique at low energies has been demonstrated to be useful for physics experiments. Further development of beams and physics experiments with them are being planned. The Wien filter system, which is under construction, will provide higher beam purities in near future. The present study was partially supported by Grant-in-Aid for Science Research from the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Technology under the contract numbers 13440071 and 14740156, and also by the Joint Research Program under the Korea-Japan Basic Science Promotion Program (1iOSEF 200\%JROl.5).",
