抄録

This study regards a beam-flange to exterior diaphragm moment connection in case of high-strength box-shaped column and small exterior protrusion of diaphragm plate. To evaluate elastic stiffness and yield strength of beam flange to diaphragm plate joints, two mechanical models, the exterior diaphragm model and the column model are proposed. To verify the validity of evaluation methods, proposed calculated values are compared with results of FEM analysis and experimental results.
