抄録

The electrical resistance of Al2O3 fiber reinforced RuO2/glass hybrid composite materials were investigated during tensile loading. Glasses in the Pb-Si-B-Al-O systems with low softening temperatures were used to prevent the reinforced Al2O3 from degrading during the sintering process. The relationship between stress, strain, and electrical resistance change obtained during linear tensile loading up to failure were analyzed. It was found that fracture or damage to the specimen that was induced by increasing strain resulted in an increase in electrical resistivity.
