N2 - We developed a new cell assay device. The assay device consists of two microchennels; a culture channel and a assay channel. In the culture channel, cells proliferated without continuous medium exchange and formed spots in line. And in the assay channel, a concentration gradient of reagent was formed by diffusion and the observation of cell spots permits cell assays with different concentration reagent at the same time. This device would permit easy and high throughput cell assay.
