N2 - Measurements of the magnetic susceptibility and the powder X-ray diffraction pattern of diluted p-CyDOV radical crystals, (p-CyDOV)1-x(p-CyDOV-H)x (x = 0 ∼ 0.10), were performed to study the effects of non-magnetic impurities, p-CyDOV-H (amine precursor of p-CyDOV), on the spin-Peierls transition of p-CyDOV. The transition temperature reduced rapidly upon p-CyDOV-H substitution and the spin-Peierls state disappeared around x = 0.07. The effect of p-CyDOV-H substitution was not observed in the X-ray diffraction pattern of p-CyDOV.
