    Abstract

The measurement results of the acoustical effect of audio equipment and furniture in a mixing room were discussed. The measurements of the mixing were used for three different room conditions mainly empty, console in the room and all equipment in the room. It was found that the equipment and the furniture that were installed into the mixing room, after architectural construction, affected the acoustical properties of the mixing room. It was observed that the loudspeaker response was changed due to the presence of the equipment and the furniture. The results suggest the importance of the consideration for the acoustical effect of the equipment and furniture while making the acoustical design for a mixing room.
