Abstract

Liquid Crystalline Blue Phases (BPs) are promising for applications to tunable photonic liquid crystals because they have three-dimensional photonic bands for visible wavelength. However, narrow temperature range of BPs is a problem to be solved for practical applications. In this paper, we report the expanded temperature range of BPs with novel dendritic molecules.
