Abstract

We synthesized a low molecular weight urethane, which possesses flexible soft segment and hard segment at the both ends. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic (FT-IR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements revealed that this oligourethane bares the microphase separation, which consists of hard segment domains and soft segment matrix. The dynamic storage modulus (E') of the oligourethane clearly exhibited glassy, glass-rubber transition and rubbery plateau regions. We successfully obtained the synthesis of recyclable oligourethane elastomers.
