Abstract

β,β-Bis(trimethylstannyl)styrenes were synthesized by organo-metal trapping of β,β-bis(trichlorostannyl)styrenes, which were formed by the reaction of ethyne with phenols or anilines in the presence of SnCl₄-Bu₃N reagent.
