Abstract

In this study, three different coke materials, indexed as CP1, CP2 and CP3, with different oxygen content or crystallographic properties were prepared. The electrorheological (ER) properties of these materials were examined. Among the three materials, CP1 was found to be more suitable for an ER suspension.
