Resonances in nuclei have been widely investigated via inelastic scattering as (p, p) and (α, α). The continuum-discretized coupled-channels method (CDCC) with the complex-scaling method (CSM) is a reliable method to elucidate resonances via an accurate analysis of inelastic scattering. Using CDCC with CSM, we analyze 12C(α, α) reaction, in which 12C is described by a 3 α model. In this analysis, we discuss resonances in 12C and effects of those on the energy spectrum calculated by CDCC with CSM.
