Abstract

Oxalato based organic conductors were prepared with M(ox)2, M(ox)3 (M=Al, Cr, Cu, Pt, Fe) using BEDT-TTF, BEDO-TTF, TMTSF, and their crystallographic, electronic, and magnetic properties were investigated. Partial charge transferred compounds were obtained aside from the materials with the integer charge state of donor molecules. Complexes of bimetal-oxalato system MM′(ox)3 (M, M′=Mn, Cr) was also prepared and the coexistence of high conductivity and ferromagnetic correlation was observed.
