Abstract

Undoped and Pd - doped SnO2 sensors obtained from hydrothermally treated sols have been examined in order to determine the reasons for increased sensitivity towards CO when Pd is present. The used approached consisted of simultaneous DRIFT and electrical experiments performed in humidity, as well as in dry air. It was observed that the CO reaction path depends on the presence of Pd and on the loading method itself.
