Abstract

In previousstudies, a batch-type desiccantair-conditioning system placedin the floor cavity was proposed which isabletooperateperenniallyin both cooling-dehumidificationand heating-humidification modes with ventilation. And a numerical analysismodeltoestimate theperformance of theproposed systemwas developed. In this paper,a sensitivityanalysiswasconducted with design-parameterssuch as temperature of hotand cold water, massflow rateof hot and cold water, air flowrate, quantity of desiccant, quantity of thermal energy storagematerialandtransposed interval. by using thedevelopednumerical analysismodel. In order to verify therole of thermal energy storage tank, acomparativenumericalanalysis with or withouta thermalenergystoragetank wasconducted. And the adaptabilityof thelarge humidity-control capacity tolatent load was evaluated.
