    Abstract

    Microcapsules of cytochrome c (Cyt c) are spontaneously formed by introducing aqueous Cyt c microdroplets in ionic liquids (ILs), which are facilely transferred to aqueous phase after crosslinking and hydrophilic augmentation of the capsule surface.
