Abstract

GC-MS analysis based on purge and trap sampling followed by Curie point thermal desorption was examined for the quantitative determination of 2,4,6-trichloroanisole in aqueous solutions. The method developed showed linearity in single ion monitoring mode over a TCA concentration range of 0.12-120 ng L-1 (parts-per-trillion).
