Abstract

Statistical picture for an excitation of a plasma transition is examined, which occurs in a strongly turbulent state. The physical picture of transition phenomena is extended to include the statistical variances. The dynamics of the plasma density and turbulent-driven flux is studied with hysteresis nature in the flux-density relation. The probabilistic excitation is predicted and the critical conditions are described by the probabilistic distribution function. The stability for the model equations is also discussed.
