Abstract
We analyzed 23 glioblastoma patients who recurred after radiotherapy. The failure patterns were categorized into four patterns - central, peripheral, adjacent, and distant failure. The failure patterns and its relationship to time to progression and overall survival were evaluated. The central failure tended to occur more frequently and earlier than the distant failure. The central failure appears to be responsible for early progression of the tumors in majority of the cases.
