Abstract
Properties of polymer-stabilized blue phases (PSBPs), which are expected as liquid crystals for next-generation LC displays, depend not only on composition of materials but also on conditions of polymer stabilization. In this study, we prepared a PSBP cell under gradient of temperature and UV intensity, and optimized stabilization condition of PSBP through measurements of electro-optical properties of 20×5 areas in a cell using high speed camera.
