Abstract
The quality problem regarding the overall indoor environment is called IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) and this area has been attracting increasing attention with the increasing health consciousness of residents. In the wide spectrum of IEQ problems, this research focuses on indoor aerosol pollution issues that have a large influence on the health risk of indoor residents. The overarching objective of this study was to develop a numerical model based on Computational Fluid Dynamics to predict aerosol concentration distributions in indoor environments. Towards this end, this paper (part 1) proposes the wall surface deposition model of nano-scale aerosol that can predict unsteady deposition flux of aerosol in indoors and reports the results of sensitivity analyses for targeting plug-flow type chamber.
