One-sided directional wideband slot array antenna for 28 GHz application

Abstract

In the frequency bands used in 5G telecommunication, the 28 GHz band is drawing attention because it can transmit and receive a large amount of information. In this research, we designed a planar slot array antenna based on the one-sided directional slot antenna. In order to realize the wide band operation, the resonance frequency of each element is changed. We also fabricated and measured the 8-array slot antenna to improve the gain.
