Abstract

The organic light emitting diode (OLED) characteristics of fluorescent based devices were described. As such, highly fluorescent bis-styrylbenzene derivatives were employed as an emitter and the high current performance was examined. To understand the characteristic decrease of the OLED efficiencies, the data was fitted with singlet-singlet (S-S) and singlet-polaron (S-P) annihilation models, resulted in an excellent coincidence with the experimental values.
