The paper presents three-dimensional flow and temperature field calculations for a jet in a cross flow. The Reynolds equations combined with two types of the k-ε model are solved by a finite difference method. The effects of the injection rate, the injection angle and the azimuth angle on the flow and temperature fields have been studied. It is found that the flow field in a wake is dominated by the twin vortices except the case of oblique jet-injection with high azimuth angles, where it is dominated by a single vortex. The numerical results show a fairly good agreement with the data from experiments conducted by the authors.
