Abstract

A three dimensional numerical reservoir model of the Dieng geothermal field was developed for the pre-exploitation stage using the TOUGH2 simulator with a forward analysis method. The model was verified by matching temperature profiles of exploration wells. The numerical model in the natural state simulation was able to successfully reproduce initial temperatures from 11 wells.
