Abstract

Hybrid hydrogels composed of hyaluronic acid (HA) and halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) were prepared via photocross-linking of HA and HNTs functionalized with vinyl groups. These hybrid hydrogels showed enhanced mechanical properties without sacrificing good swelling capability, which is crucial for biomedical applications.
