Abstract

The partition coefficients of three amino acids (glycine, phenylalanine and isoleucine) were measured at 20.0°C in dextran +poly(ethylene glycol) +water aqueous two-phase systems. Furthermore, the effects of molecular weights and concentrations of dextran and poly(ethylene glycol) on the partition coefficients of amino acids are discussed.
