Abstract

Gustatory evoked potentials and magnetic fields of the human brain were measured and analyzed. Gustatory evoked potentials were dominant in the frontal region, and gustatory evoked magnetic fields were obtained in the temporal region. Based on the spatial distributions of gustatory evoked potentials and magnetic fields, we estimated electric sources of gustatory evoked brain responses using forward problem analysis.
