Abstract

In a Bloch line memory, computer simulations are effective methods not only to study wall and vertical Bloch line (VBL) motions but also to design devices. To save a computation time, a new model based on the relation of forces acting on the VBL has been proposed for a two-dimensional simulation of a plane wall. The simulated peak value of the total effective magnetic field, the sum of magnetostatic and exchange fields, agrees well with that obtained from the experiment. A test chip was designed from simulated results of VBL propagation.
