Abstract

Asian dust (KOSA) is a wellknown phenomenon in East Asia. KOSA sometimes transports beyond the Pacific and reach North America as the case in the April of 1998. It is quite impressive that satellite sensors, SeaWiFS and TOMS, showed the daily images how the Asian dust transports from dust storms occurred in China and Mongolia to the North America [ 1 ].
