Abstract
Irreversibility of critical current was observed in oriented YBa2Cu3Ox superconducting ceramic samples. In the transport measurement, the apparent Jc determined from V-I characteristics showed an increase of nearly 10% during the current cycling. As the result of a comparison study with conventionally sintered samples, weak intersections existing between oriented blocks were supposed responsible for this phenomenon.
