High performance organic polymer light-emitting heterostructure devices

A high performance electroluminescence heterostructure organic light emitting diodes (OLED) were fabricated from conjugated polymers. Amine-fluorene was used as the hole transport polymer and benzothiadiazole-fluorene as the emissive polymer. Air-stable aluminum was used as the cathode electrode and indium tin oxide (ITO) as the anode. The electroluminance efficiency and the external quantum efficiency were greatly improved.
