High-field magnetization of TbNiAl4

We have performed the high-field magnetization measurements up to 44 T on TbNiAl4 single crystal. The magnetization curve of a-axis shows three steps below TN. The first step may be considered as corresponding to a spin-flop transition from the parallel to the perpendicular magnetic moment configuration. The second and third steps exhibit the metamagnetic behaviors. All antiferromagnetic moments of TbNiAl4 are speculated to align in the a-axis.
