Generation of ultrashort deep-UV pulses through multi-color filamentation

Abstract

Efficient frequency conversion of femtosecond optical pulses by four-wave mixing through filamentation is investigated in terms of experiment and theory. The generated two-color deep-UV pulses were possible to use for time-resolved photoelectron imaging spectroscopy.
