Abstract
A non-photorealistic rendering technique for generating colored paper-mosaic images is presented. The inputted photograph is firstly approximated using a mutually overlapped distribution of color disks. Each disk is then transformed to a torn fragment of color paper. Our method produces a paper-mosaic image composed of various sizes of paper fragments.
