Generation and Enhancement of Pulsed THz Waves by Arrayed UTC-PDs

Abstract

Taking advantage of photomixing technique, we successfully demonstrated the generation of pulsed THz waves with a repetition rate of 5, 10, and 25 GHz, as well as their enhancement by 10 dB using 4-arrayed UTC-PDs.
