    Abstract

A nonphotorealistic rendering (NPR) technique for generating canvas textures is presented. Pixels in an input image are randomly sampled and interpolated between sampled points. Canvas textures are generated on the basis of errors between the interpolated images arid the original one. This NPR. technique is then applied to moving images. This technique enables us to easily generate an NPR video coherent in time without flicker.
