Frequency-domain electric birefringence spectra of conducting polymers

By the frequency-domain electric birefringence spectroscopy, we have studied the dependences of the intrachain conduction and main-chain conformation of a typical soluble conducting polymer, poly(3-hexylthiophene), on temperature and the contour length of the polymer chain.
