Abstract

A coupled numerical model of reservoir and wellbore with multi-feed zones was developed to evaluate the effect of reservoir temperature decrease on the discharge rate of the well. The model handles three kinds of well radius, and two feed zones of shallow and deep reservoirs. The model can simulate profiles of pressure and temperature in the wellbore and also well characteristics. Simulated results show that decrease in temperature of deep reservoir significantly affects the well characteristics.
