Abstract
We reported a case of primary fallopian tube carcinoma. A 68 year-old-women underwent gynecological checkups and a pelvic tumor was found. Transvaginal ultrasonography revealed a tubular cystic mass with solid component. Pelvic CT demonstrated a "sausage-shaped" tubular cystic mass in the right pelvis, which indicated a hydrosalpinx. MRI demonstrated a solid component within the dilated fallopian tube. These findings are consistent with the diagnosis with fallopian tube carcinoma. Operation was performed and the histopathological diagnosis was adenocarcinoma of the left fallopian tube.
