Abstract

We demonstrated a simple and quick method to produce robust and flexible free-standing epoxy nano-sheet. Epoxy nano-sheet was softened from board-like rigid feature to silk-like soft matter according to the decrease of the thickness. However, the nano-sheet did not exchange the mechanical strength. The free-standing nano-sheet was obtained over 1cm diameter even though the thickness of the nano-sheet is below 20 nm. And the nano-sheet can confine small molecules as the guest molecule. We expect this work yield a wide variety of free-standing functional nano-sheets.
