N2 - We report on the progress in conceptual and mathematical solutions of the theory of nuclear geometrical symmetries-more precisely: nuclear point-group symmetries-obtained within the TetraNuc Collaboration in recent years. We shortly summarise the basic concepts, the strategic lines of the solutions as well as the link between theoretical and experimental considerations.
