Abstract

An evolutionary computing intelligence is presented for the paint industry. This integrates three principal components of soft-computing and a problem-specific knowledge to perform a computerized color recipe predictions. In light of both potential versatility and practical validity in the industrial application, it is shown that the proposed hybrid system yields advantages over other approaches in that it can evolve their results.
