Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose an introduction method of fuel cells to households of apartments. This paper examined, with simulation, the effects of sharing fuel cell with multiple households. Introduction methods of normal types of fuel cells would tend to have less of an energy-saving effect on households with fewer members (households consisting of one person or households consisting of one couple), because the load of electric power or water heating system tends to be small. Therefore, this study examined effects of energy saving in sharing one fuel cell between two households. It was verified that, when diversified combinations of load patterns were simulated for two households sharing system, this method could have sufficient effects.
